India's stock market ended higher on Friday, August 28, and followed a two-session losing run as IT stocks helped the market. The NSE Nifty 50, on the other hand, rose 84.80 points, or 0.35 percent, to 24,175.65, and the BSE Sensex rose 330.92 points, or 0.43 percent, to 77,264.51.

Against this background, a number of stocks will be in focus today after big corporate news, management changes, regulatory developments, fundraising activity and business expansion plans.
HDFC Bank
HDFC Bank is likely to remain in focus after MD and CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan told the bank's board that he does not wish to seek reappointment after his current tenure ends in October.
The move ends speculation of a longer period of service for Jagdishan, who has been in the bank for around 30 years. Investors will be waiting to know what the lender will do next with the succession of Jagdishan.
Mahindra & Mahindra
Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme across its electric-origin SUV portfolio.
We now cover models like BE 6 SPORTEQ, XEV 9S and XEV 9e. Under the agreement, customers can get BE 6 SPORTEQ at 11.45 lakh with an effective battery usage cost of Rs 3.75 per kilometre.
Ola Electric Mobility
Ola Electric Mobility received approval from the Ministry of Heavy Industries for an incentive of Rs 95.81 crore under the Production Linked Incentive scheme for automobiles and auto components.
The approval could boost the electric two-wheeler maker as it continues to scale its manufacturing operations.
Knowledge Realty Trust
Knowledge Realty Trust is also expected to attract investor attention after Blackstone-affiliated entities launched an Offer for Sale (OFS) of units in the REIT.

NBCC (India) has signed a memorandum of understanding with NHPC to execute infrastructure projects across India.
The projects will include residential blocks, commercial and residential infrastructure, office complexes and related facilities. NBCC will provide project management consultancy services and receive a 5.5% PMC fee, while the detailed project costs will be determined later.
Lenskart
Lenskart experienced a big block deal with Alpha Wave Ventures. The investor sold 2.95 crore shares (around 1.7% of the equity of the company) for about Rs 1,857 crore.
The National Pension System acquired 78.57 lakh shares, representing about 0.45% of the company's equity, for about Rs 495 crore.
